“The photograph that matters is the one I almost did not take — the moment after the shutter, when the room is already different.”

— Vera Lindh, in conversation with Aperture, Issue 251

Three ongoing series

Series I

2021 — ongoing

The long road.

A weekly photograph of the same stretch of highway 73, between Östergötland and the place where the asphalt becomes gravel. Twenty-eight frames published, four hundred remain.

Series II

2019 — ongoing

Anders, still.

A long portrait of a single friend, made over coffee, on the porch, in the workshop. The series asks a quiet question — whether the person and the photograph of the person ever resolve into one image.

Series III

2024 — ongoing

Kitchen archive.

A photograph of the same kitchen each morning at first light. The collection began the week the photographer's mother died and continues without explanation.
